Process for Ministry Applications

Please read this FIRST to review the process for applying for a ministry grant from the Endowment Fund.  Then, you may complete the following application.

Process for Archdiocese and Metropolis Youth/Young Adult Programs

The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and the Boston Metropolis offer several youth programs to students and young adults. These programs offer a life-long appreciation and love of the Orthodox faith, friends, and cultural heritage. St. Luke encourages our youth and young adults to participate in these programs. You can find information on all these program opportunities online. The Endowment Fund will cover some or all of the cost of the application fee of the following if the applicant falls within the eligibility requirements.…

  1. The Boston Metropolis Camp welcomes campers ages 8-18 (entering grades 3-12) to its Summer camp programs and ages 12-18 (enrolled in grades 6-12) to its Fall and Winter camps programs.
  2. The Greek Archdiocese of America welcomes students who are currently enrolled in grades 9 –12 to enroll in the Ionian Village program.
  3. The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America welcomes students who have completed one year of college or trade school and up to 25 years of age to enroll in the IV Next program.
  4. The Greek Orthodox of America welcomes students in high school and college to enroll in the Kosmos Project.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant’s parents or guardian must be a member in good standing of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Luke at the time of application as well as for a period of two (2) years prior to the date of the application.
  • The applicant must:

*Be actively involved in youth ministries (e.g. Altar, Choir, GOYA, JOY, Sunday School etc.) of St. Luke                                                                       

*Faithfully attend Liturgy                                                                                                 

*Be an Orthodox Christian                                                                                          

*Submit a completed application (pgs. 2-4)                                                            

*Provide a copy of the camp invoice
